PRG BECOMES MERCHANDISE SUPPLIER FOR THE 148th OPEN CHAMPIONSHIP

PRG is delighted to become a merchandise supplier for the 148th Open Championship, and has created an exclusive range of accessories for the final major tournament of 2019, to be held at Royal Portrush Golf Club in Northern Ireland.

The Open is the game’s most historic tournament and PRG has worked with the R&A to create and supply a unique range of accessories for three different collections for Royal Portrush – The Open Tartan Collection, The Open Collection and Calamity Corner Collection.

“We are extremely proud to work with the R&A to design and create such a wide range of accessories for The Open Championship,” said PRG CEO Stephen Riley. “The Open is a fantastic event to be involved with, and as a brand with Northern Irish roots, we’re delighted to be on-board for the return of the event to Royal Portrush.”

The Open Tartan Collection showcases the tournament’s official tartan and features pom head covers, tote bags and teddy bears. The Open Collection includes pom head covers together with Heritage covers for wood, blade and mallet putters, plus alignment sticks and a zip tote bag. The Calamity Corner Collection, named after the famous par-3 16th at Royal Portrush, features pom head covers together with Fusion covers for woods, blade and mallet putters, tote bags, shoe bags and duo yardage ball markers.
